My father is a pastor. How I wish he would be more like this man. The pastor was making the point that God sends messages to us when we are in the right place at the right time. It is not up to us to determine when or what God might send us.

We must listen carefully and recognize when God is speaking to us through others. When he does, we must listen without judging, criticizing, or rejecting what others are saying in order our ears to be open. We must be willing to shut out negativity in order to hear the positive messages of truth that God may have for us.
